Update on Our Partnership with UCP Seguin

As I announced in January, Envision Unlimited and UCP Seguin had made a commitment to partner to enhance the services we provide to the disability community. We have not wavered from that commitment. However, as we progressed toward formalizing our partnership, we discovered many benefits to retaining our years-long informal alliance. Consequently, we are not proceeding with our consolidation, as planned.

For several years our organizations have collaborated on many successful initiatives to benefit people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental illness. While we are not moving ahead with our formal arrangement, we will continue to pursue productive collaborations, to expand our programs and to deliver the best possible services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness.

Our shared passion for delivering the most innovative services to the increasing number of individuals who need them will always be the connector for our strong organizations. look forward to the advances we will make on their behalf. I know you will, too.
