“Seal”-ing a Deal with Lincoln Park Zoo

We can always count on our members to be involved in some interesting projects. Our Rose Center partnered with animal care experts at the Lincoln Park Zoo to develop an accessible, interactive installation about caring for grey and harbor seals.

Congratulations to our member Adrian, who has been working on the project, specifically attending monthly meetings to help zoo guests develop empathy for the seals and sea lions and help them understand how the zoo looks after these mammals. A prototype of the installation is currently on display for feedback from the public. Well done, Adrian!
