Adventures Unlimited is a free, IL-based, group respite program that offers programming and events to engage participants with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and provide respite to caregivers. Activities are offered in Chicago, Central, and Southern Illinois, and are open to children and adults on Saturdays.
Adventures Unlimited provides recreational activities offering Saturday two-hour events focus on media, art, and/or physical movement. For a participant’s first three events, certified and experienced staff will work one-on-one with the member. Bowling, motorcycle and bike riding, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, goat yoga, and indoor skydiving are a few of the adventures!
Eligibility requirements
- A documented developmental disability
- Not enrolled in any other Medicaid waiver program
