The Neighbors Program empowers participants to navigate and engage with their communities. These interactions break down stereotypes of people with disabilities as neighbors, friends, and valued community members. This skill-building enhances confidence, supports self-determination, and allows participants to take charge of their daily lives while fostering mutual understanding and empathy that create more inclusive, welcoming environments.
