The Healthy Chicago Mental Health Collective (HC-MHC) reduces barriers to accessing mental health care by providing trauma-informed clinical services. Services include individual and family therapy, as well as case management in agency-based, home-based, and community-based settings. HC-MHC also offers multiple avenues for outreach, engagement, and service delivery to ensure that individuals and families can access care regardless of their ability to pay, immigration status, or health insurance coverage.
Additionally, the HC-MHC provides trauma-informed mental health services to older adults at select co-located senior centers throughout Chicago, as well as in their homes and communities when appropriate. This initiative is designed to address barriers to care by offering accessible, low-barrier mental health services tailored to the unique needs of older adults living with serious mental illness.
